Its leaves are persistent, dark green in the upper part, while in the lower part they reveal a particular silver green color. In the flowering period, which runs from September to November, it produces a large amount of small, pleasantly scented white flowers.

Resistant to various climatic conditions, the compact evergreen shrub Elaeagnus Ebbingei has the advantage of being very easy to grow, with no particular problems or needs. Withstands a minimum temperature of -20 °, it adapts well to different climatic conditions, while favoring sun exposure. Thanks to this, it can easily be planted even in maritime areas.

The perfect habitat for this variety of hedge plant is well-drained soil. Thanks to its slow growth, it does not require too much attention in cultivation, as to keep it perfect it will be enough to prune once a year, in the month of May.

The alveoli of Elaeagnus Ebbingei Compacta are produced and marketed directly within our company Vettori Giovani Piante based in Pistoia. We select the cuttings in advance at the time of potting, using a targeted irrigation system with specific bars, able to allow us to obtain a product with maximum uniformity.

Our young plants in the alveolus are sprouted several times, so as to favor an excellent tillering and perfect rooting. The use of fertilizers and organic products and special biodegradable pots for all crops, allows us to provide a highly eco-friendly product free of harmful or polluting agents for the surrounding environment.

The goal is to provide a product of excellent quality, capable of being transplanted easily and allowing the breeders of the different varieties of plants we produce a rapid and immediate vegetative recovery. This modus operandi is applied to all crops in our nursery, which include many varieties of conifers, mediterranean plants, evergreen shrubs and shrubs of various sizes.
